One of the most important GT racers of the period, the 250GT Berlinetta'SWB' was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1959.
The bodywork by Carrozeria Scaglietti gave the car an elegant but purposefullook. The combination of low weight, high power, well-balanced suspension anddisc brakes all round made it highly competitive. The 250 SWB claimed Ferrari the GT class of the Constructor's Championship in1961.
This scale replica is very accurately modeled on chassis no. 2735 as itwas raced by Stirling Moss to victory in the Goodwood Tourist Trophy in 1961.The car was entered by Rob Walker and carries his beautiful blue and whitelivery.
